Discover Amsterdam

Amsterdam. Just one more bridge.

Narrow canal houses, a shop you weren’t looking for and lights reflected in water. Sometimes the best Amsterdam plan is to walk a little further.

Choose another side of the city

Treat the canal ring as a starting point. Choose Jordaan, De Pijp or Oud-West and give one neighbourhood a whole afternoon.

Our suggestion · two unhurried days

A weekend with room to wander

Day 1

Canals and little discoveries

Spend the morning along the canals and in Jordaan. Choose a long lunch stop, then return to the water after the lights come on.

Day 2

Art and a new neighbourhood

Choose one museum in the Museum Quarter. Then head to De Pijp or Oud-West for food and an afternoon with fewer appointments.

Make the days your own. Check opening times and tickets with the places you want to visit.
