Our suggestion · two unhurried days

A weekend with room to wander

Day 1

Buda and the grand view

Start at Fisherman’s Bastion and wander the castle district. Head down towards the Danube later to see the city take on its evening light.

Day 2

Pest and a warm interlude

Spend the morning exploring Pest’s cafés and streets. Make a visit to Széchenyi the day’s unhurried highlight before dinner.

Make the days your own. Check opening times and tickets with the places you want to visit.
